Coffman Media Training is run by Mary Coffman, a Media Trainer, Coach, and Producer with 16 years experience as a full-time professor of broadcast journalism at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
Her areas of expertise include training in video storytelling, backpack journalism, interviewing and live reporting. In addition, she has focused throughout her career on political reporting of national, regional and local issues. She has given presentations and training workshops to professional groups about quality video storytelling on the Web.
She is available for one-on one coaching and group training. Sessions can include tips for appearing in on-camera interviews (live or taped), producing quality video for the Web, writing to video, and narrating your stories or messages.
The former TV reporter, anchor, and producer is now based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
